T O P I C R E V I E WDelilahOne of my friend's personal planets fall in my 3rd house and though I think she's amazing, there's something lacking. I don't mean she's superficial, but I don't think she's ever had an independent thought of her own. There's a guy, who's now dead to me, whose Mercury fall into my 3rd house and it's the same thing. He even criticized me for the way that I answer his questions. I never say what he wants me to. Apparently I'm not supposed to see the bigger picture until he does or somehow leads me to it.The both of them generalize other cultures and you can tell that they don't have much experience with people from different backgrounds. When you confront them on their bs they stumble over themselves with "well, blah blah said blah blah so it must be true." Neither of them have a real understanding of the world, but love to criticize. Is it normal to feel that people have an immature view of the world when their personal planets fall into your 3rd house?Ami AnneThis is fascinating DeliahI never thought about it or heard about it before but am interested in what people have to say.------------------Do You Think This Psychic Is Cute? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/JohnFKennedyI don't think the 3rd house is shallow in the slightest but it depends on what you value in another person as a lover/friend, probably. My chart ruler is Mercury (which, although is located in the 8th house) meaning I highly value communication. Sagittarius dominates my 3rd house, so generally open minded, optimistic people rule my spectrum of communication with them when their planets fall into my 3rd. Apparently I must LOVE this since nothing but Sag people stick in my life and make an unbelievably huge impression on me (in both friendships and romance, also my IC is in Sag). If you Virgo or something on the cusp of the 3rd, maybe you just stumble across harsh people when their planets fall into that house. DelilahThe traditional ruler of the 3rd house is in my natal 9th, opposite to this house and my moon. My chart is ruled by Saturn, located in my 10th. I don't like immature people, people who need others to follow them (don't get me started on religion), or people who insist on correcting on others even when they're not wrong- Aries! I've read that the lower houses represent our early years and the upper our mature years. It makes sense when you look at each house and its opposite.
